Beside standard products LAPP Insulators Alumina produces customized ceramic –to –metal solutions. To minimize development time LAPP Insulators Alumina uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for product design. Especially for designing ceramic parts we are able to calculate the fracture probability by our own fracture statistic post processor with current state of the art. We can compare quickly different development designs. Our customers can choose an optimized design before the first prototype is produced. The number of prototypes is minimized. This means cost savings and shortening of production time by serveral weeks. Compared with that the simulation takes 1 to 2 weeks. LAPP Insulators Alumina develops in cooperation with customers components to series production. Also custom jobs are offered. The simulation costs are often significantly lower than the tool costs for first samples. We can offer mechanical material models and are able to combine them with transient thermic loads.
